Randalls story starts like any other good, upstanding youth's story...in a sweat shop in Kuala Lumpur, making Nike's for the imperialist swine for pennies a day. It was a simple existence, but one that suited Randall just fine. For he had small fingers, and was a very nimble youth. Though his days were spent as a cobbler of athletic footwear, it was the night he cherished the most. As his work-a-day came to an end, he would punch the clock, and race to his personal mecca...the theatre. In that dark, hallowed, palace in that pantheon of artistic acheivement, he left himself, nightly.

Truthfully, at 11 years old, someone told him doing "Angels Aware" at church would be "cool", "awesome" or "rad", he's not sure which. Needless to say, at 13 when he saw a flyer at school announcing a spring musical he just thought it would be a great way to meet chicks. It was.

Since then he's worked with, and performed for, movie stars, TV Icons, and stage legends. He received his training from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, where he studied with such musical theater icons as Jeffrey Dunn, Elaine Petricoff, and Philip George. He is the winner of the Florence Bowler Vocal Scholarship, as well as a two time Shelley Award Nominee, recording a win for best ensemble performance in Center Repertory Companys production of "Tomfoolery."

Randalls influences are as eclectic as they are impressive. Steve Martin and Oliver Platt continue to influence every aspect of his acting career. It's easy to spout a list of influences, with big credentials. But why not, instead, follow a set of questions from one of Randalls favorite shows, Inside The Actors Studio, with James Lipton. Enjoy!
